Web Browser for Mac: new version of Camino

Contrary to the Web Browser Firefox who is multi platforms, Camino was developed specifically for the environment Mac OS. It uses consequently clean technologies with Mac OS X like Finder or Spotlight for the users of Tiger. Relatively functional, this OpenSource Web Browser allows inter alia navigation by tabs, the blocking of the inopportune windows (popup), the addition of extensions (or plug-ins), the protection of the private life and the management of the remote loadings. Information had us somewhat escaped, but an update 1.5.1 was published a few weeks ago.

Among the innovations and changes which it announces:
  • The update of the engine of returned Gecko towards 1.8.1.6 grinding
  • Improvement of the blocking of the inopportune windows
  • Correction of the bug involving planting at the time of a right click on certain Web pages
