BenQ Announced Joybook A53

BenQ Joybook A53BenQ has announced the launch of 15.4” WXGA Joybook A53 powered by Intel's Core 2 Duo processor T7250, up to 2GB DDRII RAM, SiS M672 chipset and SiS Mirage 3+ graphics and max storage of 200GB.
First thing you'd notice about the A53 is its stylish brushed-metal finish and tasteful etching. Inside, the chic brushed-metal effect is applied to the aluminum palm rest. The display bezel uses the sophisticated RHCM (Rapid Heat Cycle Molding) process to achieve a lustrous finish that blends perfectly with the high-gloss LCD screen. The orange glow of the power button adds a warm touch to a beautifully holistic design.

It's one of those very few laptops in the 15.4" form factor to feature an integrated numerical keypad. The A53 excels in the entertainement department with a good set of features. The screen benefits from BenQ’s exclusive UltraVivid technology, with DBEF™(Display Brilliance Enhancement Film) increasing screen brightness and sharpening details. It has 8ms response time and 200 nit brightness rating. A built-in webcam with an internal mic with noise suppression and echo cancellation functions is also provided.

Last but not the least, it's quite durable. BenQ reveals that the Joybook A53 is made to surpass 50kg pressure testing (industry standard is 30kg). Powered by Windows Vista, this 2.3kg (without battery) machine will soon be available in Poland, Russia, China, Thailand, and Australia, with other countries to follow in the coming months.
