Asus G70 Gaming Notebook Showcased

Asus G70Asus showcased at the ongoing 2008 CeBIT expo the Asus G70, its new 17" gaming notebook, which features dual Nvidia GeForce video cards.

According to SlashGear's report, the G70 incorporates Intel's latest Core 2 Duo processor, two GeForce 8800M GS GPUs in SLI setup and up to 4GB of system memory. The notebook sports dual hard drives which currently means a max of 400GB of storage, although a max of 1TB is coming soon with the new 2.5” 500GB HDD's.

The notebook's 17" display has a 1920×1200 HD resolution. There is also a pair of built-in Altec Lansing stereo speakers with subwoofer, as well as a HDMI output, an embedded TV tuner, a remote control, and an integrated web camera.

There is no information on the availability date and pricing of the G70.
