Dell Inc. and Goodwill Industries have expanded their computer recycling program to Houston.Goodwill Industries of Houston and Round Rock-based Dell (NASDAQ: DELL) have brought their Reconnect alliance to the area. Computers can be dropped off at the Computer Works store at 12230 Westheimer. The company refurbishes computer hardware and software.
Computers also can be unloaded for free at
nearly 50 participating Goodwill locations throughout the city found at www.reconnectpartnership.com. Reconnect, Dell and Goodwill's partnership, began with a pilot program in October 2004.
